i can't see the pic at work! but i think it's probably bad luck to step on flowers, just like graves and cracks in the sidewalk and picking your feet up over railroad tracks...

I could agree with maybe feeling a bit weird about stepping on flowers, graves and cracks (not safe, this last, either), but I find the railroad tracks thing a little bit peculiar...why should that bring bad luck???
